Post-presentation notes from Karen

People asked about various features of Captivate; you may want to check out Silke Fleischer's blog  -- she's a product manager for Captivate at Adobe.

You might also want to look at these Captivate Tips & Tricks (PDF) from the Adobe Summit at the DevLearn 2007 conference.

As far as third-party books on Adobe software, Peachpit and Adobe Press (an imprint of Peachpit) are the usual ones I refer to, but they don't seem to have anything out yet on Captivate 3.0, which is pretty new. I'll keep an eye out and will point to such books when they become available. Silke pointed me to these sources for Captivate 3.0 training:

Someone also asked about integration between Connect and Blackboard. UPDATE: There's an announcement from Adobe, dated May 19, 2008, which mentions new e-learning tools for educators, including a connection with Blackboard:

"For campuses that use learning management systems (LMS) from Blackboard® or SumTotal, any student, faculty or administrator can now join an Acrobat Connect Pro classroom or course instantly via a link in their LMS account."
